How it runs

Native where it fits, extended where it does not.

Shopify B2B has come a long way and covers most of what mid-market wholesale needs. We start there, then build only the gaps rather than reaching for a separate platform.

That keeps one catalogue, one inventory and one team running both sides of the business.

FAQs

Questions worth asking.

Do we need Shopify Plus for B2B?

Yes. Native B2B, with company accounts and price lists, is a Plus feature. Below Plus you are looking at apps or a separate wholesale store, and both bring compromises worth understanding first.

Can wholesale and retail run on one store?

That is the point of native B2B, and it is usually the right answer. One catalogue, one inventory, one set of reporting, with buyers seeing trade pricing once logged in.

Can you support net terms and purchase orders?

Yes. Net terms and PO numbers are native to Shopify B2B. Credit limits and approval workflows sometimes need extending, which we build.

What about our existing wholesale customers?

They get migrated into company accounts with their price lists intact. We usually run a short parallel period so your sales team can check the pricing before switching them over.

How long does a B2B build take?

Adding B2B to an existing Shopify Plus store is typically eight to fourteen weeks depending on pricing complexity and how much ERP integration is involved.
